HOW TO APPLY


We are delighted that you have chosen to apply to HudsonWay Immersion School (HWIS). HWIS utilizes the SchoolAdmin application and enrollment portal. We look forward to getting to know you and your family through the admissions process. The general process consists of the following steps. Select the New York or New Jersey campus as deadlines differ.


ADMISSION PROCESS

Information Session

Register for an upcoming event to learn more about HudsonWay Immersion School .

Admission Application

Select the NY campus or NJ campus and entering grade to review the process. Complete the application by the deadline.

Release of Records

Provide supporting information - report cards for past two years, standardized testing if available, and teacher recommendations.

Student Visit & Family Meeting

Upon receiving a completed admission application, HWIS will be in touch with families about how to continue the process virtually.

Financial Aid Request

Submit a letter outlining the need for financial aid to Bill Hicks, Chief Administrative Officer for HudsonWay Immersion School, at bhicks@hwis.org.

Financial Aid Documentation

Submit parents’ or guardians' W-2s and IRS Form 1040s for the last two years via School & Student Services. Documents should not be submitted directly to HWIS.

Financial Aid Decision

Receive notification by the Chief Administrative Officer within two weeks of the submission of all required documentation to School & Student Services.

Admission Decision

The admissions committee carefully reviews each candidate before a decision is made, and each family will be notified of the outcome of this process via email or phone call.

Admissions Deadlines for 2022-2023 School Year

Students applying in the NY campus are invited to submit an application for early decision which enables a student to receive notification in December.
There will be a commitment on the part of the student to enroll if admitted under early decision.

We are still accepting rolling admissions for School Year 22-23.
