Extended Care @HWIS NY Campus

HWIS provides a warm and nurturing extended care program – both early care in the morning and after care to all HWIS day school students. Students are grouped by preschool and elementary/middle school. Children are under close supervision and will engage in a variety of activities and open play for both in the classroom and the playroom. Elementary/middle school students will have dedicated time during after care to complete homework.

Extended care will not be offered on below dates: 

  1. We will not offer extended care (3:30-6:00pm) for preschool 2's until September 19th; on September 14th for 3's and September 12 for 4's; 4 Wednesdays which will be early dismissal at 12:00pm on September 21, November 9, January 25, and April 19 (as noted on the school calendar). 
  2. We will not be offering extended care (3:30-6:00pm) on Friday, February 3rd for Chinese New Year Show and on Friday, February 17th for Carnival Spanish Show. 
  3. We will not be offering extended care (3:30-6:00pm) on Friday, June 9th for Field Day.
  4. We will not be offering extended care (3:30-6:00pm) on June 14 for the last day of school.
