Growing Minds Beginner
This class is for those students who are new to chess or have very basic knowledge of chess. We will learn how to unlock the skills needed to be successful in learning the game of chess. We will learn and apply the 3 P’s: Pieces, Practice and Playing. Your child will learn through fun mini games, gamification and engagement.
Growing Minds Intermediate
This class is for those students who have mastered the introductory chess topics and are looking to build on those foundations. Students will learn how to build and execute plans for each stage of the chess game. This class will also focus on examining classical chess games where the instructor will break down the concepts for the students to learn. There will be a “game of the day” selected by the teacher reviewed in the following class.
