Chess Beginner (Grades K-3rd)

Growing Minds – This class is for those students who are new to chess or have very basic knowledge of chess. We will learn how to unlock the skills needed to be successful in learning the game of chess. We will learn and apply the 3 P’s: Pieces, Practice and Playing. Your child will learn through fun mini games, gamification and engagement.

Monday      3:45 – 4:45pm  15 weeks (week of Jan 31-Jun13; No class: 2/21, 3/14, 3/21, 5/30)
